THE CHILDREN'S HOUR

A schoolgirl's whisper spreads and triggers a chain of events with extraordinary consequences. Ian Rickson directs an outstanding cast that includes Keira Knightley, Elisabeth Moss, & Ellen Burstyn.

Arcadia is set in April 1809 in a stately home in Derbyshire. Thomasina, a gifted pupil, proposes a startling theory, beyond her comprehension. All around her, the adults, including her tutor Septimus, are preoccupied with secret desires, illicit passions and professional rivalries. Two hundred years later, academic adversaries Hannah and Bernard (Lia Williams and Billy Crudup) are piecing together puzzling clues, curiously recalling those events of 1809, in their quest for an increasingly elusive truth.
Sweet Charity follows the misadventures of love encountered by the gullible and guileless Charity Hope Valentine, a woman who always gives her heart and her dreams to the wrong man. Cy Coleman’s score features favorite hits such as Hey, Big Spender; If My Friends Could See Me Now and The Rhythm of Life. Sweet Charity was written by Neil Simon, music by Cy Coleman with lyrics by Dorothy Fields. This production is directed by Matthew White with choreography by Stephen Mear, set design by Tim Shortall, costume design by Matthew Wright, musical supervision and direction by Nigel Lilley, orchestrations by Chris Walker, hair & wigs by Richard Mawbey, lighting by David Howe and sound design by Gareth Owen.
When a schoolgirl's whisper spreads it triggers a chain of events with extraordinary consequences. Karen Wright (Keira Knightley) and Martha Dobie (Elisabeth Moss) run a girls' boarding school in 1930's New England, where they become entangled in a devastating story of deceit, shame and courage. Banned in London and several cities across America, The Children's Hour received its world premiere on Broadway in 1934. Generations on, its potent exploration of a culture of fear remains startlingly relevant.

CHINGLISH

Direct from its sold-out run at Chicago's Goodman Theatre, CHINGLISH now comes to Broadway!

AMERICAN IDIOT

American Idiot tells the exhilarating story of a new generation of young Americans as they struggle to find meaning in a post-9/11 world, borne along by Green Day's electrifying score!

LA CAGE AUX FOLLES

La Cage Aux Folles is a funny and touching tale of one family's struggle to stay together... stay fabulous... and above all else, stay true to themselves.

An American businessman arrives in a bustling Chinese province looking to score a lucrative contact for his family’s sign-making firm. He soon finds that the complexities of such a venture far outstrip the expected differences in language, customs and manners—and calls into question even the most basic assumptions of human conduct.
American Idiot tells the exhilarating story of a new generation of young Americans as they struggle to find meaning in a post-9/11 world, borne along by Green Day's electrifying score. With an 8 member onstage band and a cast of 19 led by Tony Award-winner John Gallagher, Jr., this high-octane musical includes every song from the acclaimed album American Idiot, as well as several songs from the band's Grammy Award-winning new release, 21st Century Breakdown. Green Day won two Grammy Awards for the groundbreaking rock opera American Idiot, which sold more than 12 million copies worldwide. Now Billie Joe Armstrong and the band collaborate with one of the theatre's most acclaimed creative teams: Tony Award-winning director of Spring Awakening Michael Mayer, two-time Tony Award-winning composer and orchestrator Tom Kitt, and Olivier Award-winning choreographer Steven Hoggett, to bring this explosive, iconic album to the stage.
This definitive new production received glowing reviews in London, where it was honored with the 2009 Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival. Now, Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein’s glittering musical comedy arrives in New York with a dapper new addition! Five-time Emmy Award® winner Kelsey Grammer ("Frasier") will make his Broadway musical debut as Georges, the owner of a glitzy nightclub in lovely Saint-Tropez. Douglas Hodge (winner of the 2009 Olivier Award for his performance in London) stars as his partner Albin, who moonlights as the glamorous showgirl Zaza. When Georges' son brings his fiancée's conservative parents home to meet the flashy pair, tensions mount and feather boas fly! La Cage Aux Folles is a funny and touching tale of one family's struggle to stay together... stay fabulous... and above all else, stay true to themselves.
