OLYMPUS THEATRICALS, LLC (Producer) is a New York-based company that acquires, develops and produces commercial theater projects in London and New York.   The company seeks innovative new musicals and plays as well as adaptations and revivals of classics.  Broadway Credits include: Arcadia, La Cage Aux Folles, American Idiot, Lend Me A Tenor, A View from the Bridge, The 39 Steps, The Seagull, 13, Guys & Dolls and Off-Broadway: The 39 Steps, Fault Lines. London: The Children's Hour, Sweet Charity, The Little Dog Laughed, Arcadia, Marguerite. U.S. Tour: The 39 Steps.
 
Olympus Theatricals is also affiliated with Olympus Pictures, LLC, an independent film production company which produces films including The Narrows (2008 Toronto), Adam (2009 Sundance), Rabbit Hole (2010), Beginners (2010), and The Oranges (2010).
 
Both companies are subsidiaries of Olympus Productions, LLC which is owned by Olympus Holdings, LLC, an independent firm engaged through its various subsidiaries and affiliates in energy, commercial finance, and entertainment.

Elizabeth Timperman,   Executive Director

Elizabeth comes to Olympus Theatricals, LLC after four and half years at New York Stage and Film (SAF) where she served as Executive Director.  At SAF she produced over 50 new plays and musicals by artists such as John Patrick Shanley, Beth Henley, David Marshall Grant, Keith Bunin, Steven Sater, Joanna Murray-Smith and Zach Helm.  Prior to SAF she was the Producing Associate for Signature Theatre Company producing the first half of the Lanford Wilson season, including the acclaimed off-Broadway production of Burn This.  She was the Producing Director at The New Group from 1999-2002, producing three seasons of new plays.  She is a co-founder of Pure Orange Productions.  In film she produced the short film, Why Don’t You Dance? (Hamptons Film Festival).  She was the Story Editor, Creative Executive and finally Director of Development for Danny DeVito’s Jersey Films.

 

KIRSTEN BERKMAN,   Associate Producer

Kirsten was formerly an Associate Producer with East of Doheny. She also served as the New Works Director at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT), the Head of Development and Marketing Manager at The Araca Group, and Director of Arts Learning and Community Relations at The Lark Play Development Center. Before her theatre career she taught middle and high school history and drama. Shows Kirsten has worked on include The Wedding Singer, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Shout! The Mod Musical, The Good Body, night’ Mother. Kirsten holds a BA from Northwestern University and a Masters degree in Educational Theatre from NYU. She serves on the board of New Dramatists theatre company and on the leadership council of The Women’s Project Theatre Company.
